The Brazilian Quarter is an NYC-based brass band that offers a unique blend of choro – instrumental Brazilian music – and traditional New Orleans jazz. Comprised of flute, clarinet, mandolin, trombone, tuba, and pandeiro, the Brazilian Quarter merges two great American musical traditions that dissolve the borders between North and South. After hearing the Brazilian Quarter, you’ll wonder which continent you’re actually on!
